Gudur bound passenger walk to the extreme Eastern Side of the CHENNAI Central Terminal and Arakkonam bound passenger as ever walk to the Western Side of the Central station.Or both side bound passenger can travel upto the BASIN BRIDGE JUNCTION and switch over to their destination at the BASIN BRIDGE JUNCTION easily.
Then if Gudur side EMU is run with only 2 PF then service augumentation cannot be done and EMU will pile up at outer wanting for PF and will increase congestion.
Sir SR is doing good work in MAS, the problem with MAS is , if a train has to be taken out of MAS then it will obstruct the main line as MAS does not have dedicated line which goes to yard, the empty rake will obstruct the main line , so the trains from BZA and AJJ side will be stranded. It will take nearly 15 mins to take the rake back to yard . Moreover BBQ yard is overflowing with coaches. IR did not sanction enough funds to SR to improve BBQ. another issue with MAS is long distance train coming at MAS, having loco change, halting for more that 30min. If it can bypass MAS and instead provide stop at Permabur, it would be very good. Will reduce conjection little bit
yeah . Vyasarpadi - Korukkupet can be used. SR wants that line only for freights. Bangalore-Dibrugarh is the only passenger train plying in that line. Raptisagar, ALLP-DHN/TATA, Guwahati expresses, Sanghamitra can be diverted. All GHY bound trains occupy MAS at 6 o clock which is a prime time. This route can de congest for sure.
