I cant say about entire UBL division but the trains at VSG are very well maintained.

Agree, that's y I have mentioned it as below the standards set by SWR and not of whole IR... Coming to Basava and GG, they are really in bad condition. I use both of them frequently.. Last time when I travelled in Basava, lights were blinking in entire coach.. It was like a ghost movie ( I have the video of it), no water in bathrooms and they very smelling horribly. GG is better when compared to Basava. Since other UBL trains like SC Exp and LTT exp are recently POHed, we can't comment on them. Lets wait for 2-3 years and then assess their condition ;)
