What I think is that let track go side by side upto Tanda then construct bridge at Ghaghra to connect to Tanda Railway station.
By doing this, Tanda track will become more operational as well as people benefit.

A line is in pipeline in NER to connect tanda with basti and hence doharighat and other area will be connected easily. The fund is not coming otherwise survey has been done already for basti-tanda track.

Proposed between Azamgarh & Mubarakpur, will get extended upto Dohrighat some day. And other proposed line between Azamgarh Baskhari Jehangirpuri Ambedkar Nagar will meet to Tanda Basti line somewhere near or at Tanda

in uttar pradesh, the State highways are the main reason of this much demand of rail route... you cans see in atlas how much rail traffic pass from Up.
