Alappuzha-Ernakulam coastal line completes 25 years :)
The line was opened to traffic on 15 oct 1989 by RM Madhavrao Sindia.
Here KYJ-ERS passenger train rolls over the longest bridge in kerala (if we consider both passenger and Freight traffic ,Vembanad bridge is used only for Freight )
