Starting a new train from BAY would not be possible as their no proper infrastructure for that at BAY, they have to either start it from SBC/YPR/UBL/MYS. Although it travels a excess of 200 KM, it gives proper connectivity to North from BAY/HPT. It would be wrong if they would have run YPR - SC train via Bellary as their would not be any logic in that but for long distance trains with an excess of 200 KM will be logical if they cover new cities like BAY which have no connectivity to North India.
well for that matter ..this train is perfectly alright for HYB people ..for people of bangalore , they can catch rajdhani and still catch it from delhi and save atleast 9 hours ...
Agree.... Premium tag not required for this they could run it as a normal express with better schedule and stoppages in other cities...
As i understand the route via YNK-DMM-GTL is saturated, the rlys are running this train and also the path of proposed MYS-BSB BI-WEEKLY and 18111/12 TATA-BYPL weekly is also via BAY.The distance is longer by around 200 kms,but provides connectivity to the interior parts of Karnatka like Chitradurga,Hospet,Hampi etc.The proposed premium train 22695/96 YPR-JP is also via BAY. In fact we are pressing for YNK-DMM-GY-GY doubling
why all are neglectg in BAY, i dnt no y , bay is a one of the big city in karnataka. y urs thing trains in passing bay, urs think is its a big crime .
