its actually using a reserve rake of 12987/88.. with few SL & 1 3A coaches removed..
No, its a different rake.
12987/8 belongs to NWR with extra rake kept at AII only. This rake is kept idle at SDAH. It is the rake of some other train most probably with 03173/4 Barhni SDAH Special... Both of them has same rake pattern + departure days are different.

Not at all... why will they remove coach from rake .. It's a diff rake totally
