Egmore (MS)- Guruvayur (GUV)/ Tuticorin (TN) Express slows down on its approach to Olakur, and in the process crosses the patiently waiting 17703 TNP (Tondiarpet) WDM- 2A hauled 16106 Tiruchendur (TCN)- Chennai Egmore (MS) CHENDUR Express. The loco was withdrawn on April 2014 as it was overaged.
CHENDUR follows the Tiruchendur- Tirunelveli- Maniyachchi- Virudunagar- Madurai- Tiruchchirappally- Thanjavur- Mayiladuturai- Villipuram- Chengalpattu- Egmore route. Earlier used to get TNP alco throughout. Now gets RPM WAP- 1 in between Villipuram and Egmore.
