anna~ 5522 blog postsSpotted this train with different rakes on different days. 1 rake has 1-2 duronto liveried coaches. Similar rake I once saw in AII Shatabdi. I think there is 1 extra LHB rake in NR used as spare rake for LKO/ASR/KALKA/DDN/BPL/AII shatabdis one by one. All these shatabdi's are daily and get only approx 7 hrs maintainace time @ NDLS. SO I think 1 spare rake is there...
Definetly as all aee dailies they should have spare rake for shatabdi which is configured according to cc for that route and day. Apart from rake they will also have spare coaches and eog in case of sudden failure. Same for rajdhani at h nzm for nr operated trains
Aii shatabdi has only 1 executive coach while gopal shatabdi has 2.
Ajmer Shatbdi has ex2 almost 6 months in year .
