This is how rails are welded.
On Sunday, November 1st I visited the construciton site of new island platforms at Indore.
Suddenly I heard some sharp noise and noticed something is going on. Immediately I moved towards the mainline side and saw that a team of veldors working on to veld the newly laid BG rails for one of the island platforms.
