Extension of Shatabdi to Mumbai is impossible. We don't have that advanced infrastructure where a train can make 2 trips between Mumbai-Secundrabad in a single day.
For increase in frequency of duranto a new duranto rake is required.

present drnt's rake remains idle from sunday to tuesday...
for third run, it can depart on Sundays and will reach back SC on tuesdays, again it can depat on tuesday with regilar TT as of now....

But these slots are occupied I think, so it would a need new slot altogether, if it comes to frequency increase.
If you are so willing to travel in this train to Mumbai, go till Solapur and then switch to SUR-CSTM Exp or Siddheshwar
Since shatabdi cannot be extended they can either run a link express between CSTM-PUNE-CSTM if timings doesn't bother pax.
