Yes. On 6th Dec lakhs of people visit Chaitanyabhumi in Dadar. CR always runs special trains during that period.
No. Actually Babasaheb Ambedkar was cremated at Chaityabhumi. On his death anniversary i.e 6th Dec lakhs of people visit this place to pay homage to him. So CR runs special trains from various places upto Mumbai during this period. Its going on since his death in 1956.
Mostly people come from various parts of Maharashtra but people from all over India too visit and pay homage to him.
