most importantly, for me, it is that rlys has done with its own fibre optic network ...
railways has done it not with private broadband service providers aka Airtel/ Tata/ Reliance... but its own company RailTel Network...
that means if successful, at least 20%, then the same technique, if properly utilized, can be used to A] police/ rly authorities to control Crimes in Rly stations B] public for hassfle free internet ticket booking/ cancelling reducing hawkers/ unauthorised agents.. C] police/ rly authorities to broadcast train delay/ on time/ arrival/ departures of trains to smartphone/ laptop users, at least ...
that are besides timepass surfing...
