This is another reason why the electrification process and projects take long. This is because each section or route has special requirements of Masts, catenary, cantilevers and other related items. After survey, the detailed estimates are prepared as per the items required, then after sanction of the detailed estimates, orders are placed with the suppliers/Manufacturers. Each item/mast etc. are marked for a particular location, and all the required materials are collected at those spots. Setting of neutral zones, setting of TSS. Each TSS has a minimum distance gap of 50kms. All these factors are to be kept under consideration.
