Poush Mela (Bengali: পৌষ মেলা) is an annual fair and festival that takes place in Santiniketan, in Birbhum District in the Indian state of West Bengal, marking the harvest season. Love the Poush Mela. Been there twice. Love the Baul Music and their instrument ek tara. The best place to enjoy Baul Music is the Mela at Jaydev Kenduli which happens during Sankaranti.
Poush Mela attract thousand of visitor across the world. I am happy to learn from you that you were twice at this place on the occasion of Poush Mela. The charm is such that people come again and again to this place.

Getting a decent place to stay at Bolpur during Poush Mela is almost impossible. Last time I stayed at Rampurhat and visited the Mela from there.
That's the main problem during Poush Mela. You have to plan early. Charges of Hotel gets doubled. If you are not staying at Night in Santiniketan you cannot enjoy the charm.
