Great. Brings back great memories. Visited last in 1990 while on the way to meet a friend at Lawrence,Sanawar. Had a lovely stay in Parwano just across Kalka in HP. No Shatabdi those days. Always took Kalka from DEL even though my house was in New Delhi. Pretty much CDG I think was a single pf stn then.

Nice Photo... so Kalka Station is in Haryana State but near to Himachal Pradesh State Border. I think that IR should connect this station with direct rail lines with places like Dehradun, Jammu, Kathgodam, Amritsar, Una Himachal and even join it to the BG Pathankot - Jogindernagar - Leh Line under proposal :-)
