WR has only pf no 5 which can handle long distance trains passing through dadar.. That is why trains skip dadar western..
2 mins halt of ak raj shud be given at dadar, discarding andheri halt as in whole dadar is anytime more important than any other surburban stn of Mumbai
Just have a look how 22914 makes an unscheduled halt at dadar on maiden run n passengers readily deboard.
The main line platforms are very short buddy n they cant handle most of the trains AFAIK.
Rajdhani shatabdi rakes r smaller.
This reason is very lame when we r trying to run 15 coach locals for which platforms were extended at small small stations like Mulund Dombivali.
At thane, platform no.5 and 6 were small now they r big enough for mail/express.
They dont want the crowd to easily access trains.
