Also bangalore cant halt is unnecessary.Mysore chennai shatabdi has non stop run between bangalore and chennai and i think passengers from calicut and coimbatore are sufficient to fill the train.
When I click the 'return journey- n/a' on the top of the TT page a small box opens saying 'return journey train number' and whatever I enter in the box after i click 'update' nothing changes and it still says 'return journey- n/a'
Mysore-Chennai Shatabdi reaches Bangalore at 16:15 hrs. Reaching Bangalore City station at that time from anywhere in Bangalore is quite easy compared to reaching at 05:45 hrs. I think that here Bangalore Cantt halt in necessary.

I plan to use a diesel loco throughout the journey so there will be no need for loco change. My opinion is patronage will be better if stops like Hosur and Tiruppur and Tirur are there.

But intercity trains can connect these small towns. The main aim is really to link people from Kozhikode,CBE to Bangalore.Even Erode,Salem halts are unnecessary. It's like majority of travellers in CLT-TVC janshatabdi are from or to ERS,TVC.
