This post is for MP's (both Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha)who are representing their area falling under jurisdiction of Nanded Divison of SCR.
According to press-release of SCR on today, Hon. Railway Min. Suresh Prabhu will take a high-level meeting with Senior Officers of SCR, and with MP's on 8-Jan to discuss performance of SCR o­n various issues such as freight / passenger traffic, earnings, safety/security, cleanliness, passenger amenities, infrastructure development and various initiatives for providing improved service to rail users o­n the Zone. The views and the proposals of Hon’ble MPs o­n railway developmental activities and services in this region will also be discussed in these meetings.

there are following topics/demands should be/ can be discussed in the meeting.
Infrastructure Issues:-
1. Doubling Issue of Mudkhed-Parbhani (Although work sanctioned 5 years ago, but, SCR did not built track even 1 meter)
2. Pit-Line Issue at Aurangabad (Due to this issue, several trains are not able to extend till AWB, although demand is there)
3. Diesel Loco Shed at Purna Jn
4. Gauge Conversion of Akola-Khandwa
Budget Required for following Projects:-
1. Ahemadnagar-Parli (This is the oldest project of Marathwada Region which is pending)
2. Solapur-Dhule
3. Wardha-Yavatmal-Nanded
New Trains:-
1. Nanded-Mumbai SF Express
2. Nanded-Aurangabad (Intercity)
3. Nanded-Jammu Tavi Express (Via: Aurangabad):- Please be specific while demanding this one
Slip Trains:-
There is a possibility to attach and detach some coaches of Nagpur-Kolhapur Express at Purna. Detached Coaches can be sent to Nanded. Thus, it gives direct connectivity from Nanded to Kolhapur.
Extension of Trains:-
1. Santragachi-Nanded to Aurangabad
2. Patna-Purna to Aurangabad
3. Kacheguda-Akola to Amravati
Increase in Frequency:-
1. Nanded-Pune SF Express from Bi-Weekly to Tri-Weekly.
2. Nizamabad-LTT Express from Weekly to Bi-Weekly
Need of Coaches:-
1. Nanded-Pune SF Express/ Regular Express will require 2 more SL's
2. Nanded-Una will require 4 more SL's
3. Nanded-Sri Ganganagar will require 1 2AC.

Ok. Another nice question from your end.
Currently SCR will consists of following Divisions:- Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Guntur, Guntakal and Nanded. Earlier Hubali was also part of SCR, but later transfred to SWR.
CR consists of:- Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhusawal, and Nagpur.

1993, MMR-MUE Broad-gauge has been completed. So, if we only consider after 1993, this division is part of SCR from almost 22 years. We all know that in Mumbai, Pune job opportunities are more, even if education standards are also high as compare to our area (Please don't panic, accept the fact, I know some members may disagree with my opinion, but, figures are saying the same). Since, opportunities are more over there, plenty of your friends, my friends, known ones, relatives etc. are living in Pune and Mumbai (includes students and working professionals). Hope, you agree with me till this?
Now, such large population are living on those cities, we require good trains to connect with those cities. But, we are not getting good trains with good timings to those cities.
Mumbai Dilemma:-
For Nanded bound people, I think Nandigram is the last popular train which was declared in 2003 and in 2005 it was extended to Nagpur, when no one was demanded for the same. And for Aurangabad bound people Jan Shatabdi is last popular train which declared in 2008. NZB-LTT and Ajni-LTT is also option for Aurangabad people, but not that much in demand.
Pune Dilemma:-
Recently, 17613/14 becomes tri-weekly but unnecessarily slowed by 2 hrs. Now, it is reaching Pune at 11 am.
So, from this, you'll can understand, from a long time, we did not get any good train to connect with these cities. So, people are not happy with SCR. Now, why CR means, people will comes to know that CR is giving good priority to their trains, so, people is thinking that if this division is shifted to CR then they will good no. of trains with good timings to Mumbai, Pune etc. From people point of view this is the only reason. They are not interested whether we are in CR or SCR, their expectation is this only.
Now Administrative Reason:- I think I've already being explained the interest of SCR in this route. Hope you read the same. As far as CR is being concern, no one will say, whether CR will willingly to accept this division or not, even CR officers also don't know, what is their stand regarding the same. Ha, one thing I can say, they are just pushing the time ahead. Let us consider on tomorrow, Railway Minister takes decision to transfer this division to CR, they'll say Welcome!!! But, from their end they did not make any efforts. Now this is a typical Govt. Administration Policy, they are never ready to adopt the new things. Jo chal raha hai, wahi sahi hai... :)
Third Man Point of View About this Issue:-
I agree little bit with you. If we transferred to CR, then that doesn't mean all problems will be resolved automatically. It requires a some time. I completely agree with you that CR is giving Golden Treatment (VIP) for Mumbai and Pune, but, they needs to give such treatment. Because, they are giving highest revenue throughout the Zone. So, CR needs to take care of it. In our family also, a person who are living in abroad or working at good position will get good treatment, facial expression of people will gets changed by looking to them.. :) Same concept applies here also, its a human tendency. Whether it is family or administration, because administration is made up of same people which are from same society na...
Now, your fear with not to get good treatment from CR. For this, I can say, don't expect much more. If we shifted CR, at least we can get / expect trains with good timings to these cities. At that time, Zonal Communication is not an barrier for us, because all resides within CR only. But, Politicians also needs to play an important role all during the process. If they've decided we can do, definitely we can get much more, else nothing, although NED DIV is shifted to CR.
Hope I've able to answer your question. Some members may have different opinions than mine, but I completely respect their opinions or points. All fingers are not same.. :)
