Pune-Amritsar AC Express via Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Ludhiana-Amritsar
It is understood that there is abig demand for a train via Ahmedabad-jaipur to Amritsar. While is is very essential for a diretc train-AC-between these two stations, it needs ot be seen that the train is routed via WR along the route-Pune-Panvel-Vasai-Vadodara-Ahmedabad-Ajmer-Jaipur-Ludhiana -Amritsar. The proposed rout eis much shorter than the route used by Golden temple/paschim Express. Morever it will be also used by passengers staying in Gujarat-Rajasthan, Haryana. While this proposal is pending for clearance in railway ministry, it is not taking sape on account of rake shortage. Railway may somehow introduce this AC express at the earliest so that journey time gets reduced between Pune and Amritsar.

The railway minister is requested to kindly introduce a new direct train between Pune and Amritsar via Western Railway and may be named as Pune-Amritsat PUNJAB Mail. The train be run on the follwing route: Pune>Lonavla>Karjat>Panvel>Vasai Road>Surat>Ahmedabad>Phulera>Bhiwani-Bhatinda-Amritsar. By introduction of this proposed train, load on Paschim EXpress and Golden Temple and rajdhani Express trains will be reduced. Moreover, passengers from Pune will have direct connectivity to Amritsar. Railway minister,request to consider this suggestion in this budget 2015-16.
I will also suggest that one rake may eb made exclusively avaiable for Pune - Amritsar and back on RSA basis. After completing the Pune-Amritsar-Pune route, this rake on RSA basis be made to run as Pune-Tirupati Express via PANVEL>MADGAON>BELLARY>GUNTAKAL>RENIGUNTA>TIRUPATI and back. The Pune Amritsar-Pune route will get completed in 4 days and on remaining 3 days Pune-Titupati-Pune route can get completed via above proposed route. Please conside this suggestion in the interst of Puneites and Konkan region people.
