Pamban Sethu - இது தான் நம்முடைய ராமர் சேது - Darnish C

It is understood that the Daund-manmad railway track is already electrified but the electric engines are yet to be introduced. Can railways let us know when this route will be used by electric engines for passengers considering that this route involves diesel engines (where fuel can be save). Also the Manmad-Daund route was to be made double line looking into the number of trains moving on this route/track-both ways. This was suggested in railway budget of 1991 when Shri Jakher Sherif was railway Minister. Does railway have any plans now to make this route double line
