no you have to purchase the ticket fare is 6/5 rs otherwise you can punch cvm coupon.
If your ticket is upto BCT and you get down at Borivli you can travel in the suburban train without buying separate ticket.

No, you do not need to purchase any local ticket. You can directly board a local bound to churchgate and get down at Santacruz. Please remember, you can only board second class in local trains with the Avantika Exp. ticket. You could have boarded first class if your reservation was in 2A or 1A.
