This Year Purulia might get new exciting gifts from Railway Budget 2015-16. There has been many demands from this station and its neighbors. However, the construction of new station named "Purulia Town" near Indrabasta Colony and Doubling of PRR-KSX line will be done after approval. The further developments of Purulia which are conformed:

but there are only 2 trains from dhn to adra. People face difficulty . They usually prefer bus instead of swarna rekha exp.
