The day the sleep killer ran late!!!
it was 1999 and one of the fav days of a RF- It was July 1st 1999 the day when 13352 aLLP-DHN entered into MAS instead of stopping at PER and proceeding through Korukkupet.
6007 left on time and being the 2nd consecutive night journey went off to sleep immediately. Woke up at 5AM sharp and called out to my mom on LB to get up- She asked me to go back to sleep as train was late

up at 6:45AM and to horror the train was skipping a station at moderate speed- More surprised that it was Kuppam - being skipped at a time when I was supossed to be at home
We proceeded to reach KJM at 8:30 as Lalbagh skipped it at high speed past us. Then my mom narrated the incident what lead to delay
We proceeded from MAS and I was fast asleep before BBQ clearing. It was raining that day and as we approached VLK, the engine ran into a buffalo on tracks leading to loco failure. And from 22:30 till 01:45 we were stranded there awaiting the new engine to lead us watching all other trains including Kaveri (MAS 2330 SBC 0640)
Well it was again a 3 hr 45 min delay as we reached SBC at 9AM against schedule of 5:15
