Pakistan has Joined Iran and India By Its Railways...
Has Further Plans to Join Afghanistan, Turkmenistan via Afghanistan Connecting port City of Gwadar with Countries of Central Countries...

If i am not wrong a Trans Asia Railway plan is under active discussion between India and rest of Asian country.
That has Been Under Implementation Since Decades... But No Result have Came Out
b'desh has same b.g. like us but not malaysia or singapore else we too can plan till malaysia / vietnam and thailand ., but indian rail doing jobs in malaysia need talk n suggest asean nations for uniform gauge may be india help them then possibly between malaysia/thailand & india via b'desh even we can think of expanding concor services i.e. abt 3000 tons per goods rack .

Indian broad gauge is NOT as per international standards. One widely adopted gauge internationally is the "Standard Gauge" which is narrower than the broad gauge. So you will find that in most other countries, trains are much narrower - have less width.
By far, Indian long-distance trains are among the broadest in the world - they can accommodate the side berth, 6+2 people per compartment. With standard gauge, there may be only 5 people per compartment.
