New Railway App to Help Travellers Woes
RailYatri app, an exclusive feature to make train trip planning easier for travellers in India, launched. The feature titled ‘Seat Availability/Forecast’ allows users to make informed bookings on Wait Listed (WL) tickets by checking the confirmation history on that train. It allows users to select the train which has the highest probability of getting a confirmed ticket.
It helps users compare train schedules that have a higher probability of getting confirmed, assess the risks of booking a wait-listed seat ticket and plan the trip accordingly.
