No this overtake usually does not happen because GT mail departs at 9.30 pm and this one at 11.15 pm.
That particular day GT must have departed late and thus would have got preference over Duronto.

i was onboard this train in B4 coach on that day and witnessed OT.
when our train reached Ratlam GT was already haulting on plat no. 2 whereas our train haulted on plat no. 3 but our train departed prior to GT and later got overtaken i.e. after 2 or 3 station.
