Yes. From steam to Meter guage DD to diesel to electric. Sometime back, CCs were removed, PC was removed, reserved coaches were reduced, more UR coaches were added. And now the name change. Uff!
THanks for update. I was still having original idea about Brindavan exp.
probably most changes happened in this train. a record for most changes in the history of IR.
This is cheating, planning to divert people to bekaar DD from other well running trains to bangalore.
For many things, we have suffix 'I' and 'II'. So, let them call the 'Original' Brindavan exp as Brindavan-I or Brindavan - SD (meaning single deck) and other one as Brindavan-II or Brindavan - DD. Surprisingly, original Brindavan or this duplicate Brindavan does not go anywhere near Brindavan Gardens at Mysore!
