Inaugural Blast:Clean loco clean coaches:22653 Trivandrum Nizammudin SF Express
One of the newly inaugurated trains of SR, connecting the capital of Kerala, Tiruvanthapuram with the National capital, New Delhi. Unexpected entry by the WDM-3D diesel locomotive with no honking or chugging. Only the turbo sounds of the loco was indicating that the train approached. The turbo sounds of the loco could be heard even as the train disappeared into the jungle as it crossed me. The single railway track in the Udupi premises passes through Jungle surroundings, due to which it is very difficult to capture a train from wide angle. Most of the cases got to capture the train head on, from a nearby angle.
