Need a memu services from Chennai beach/ Chennai central to tiruvanamalai via vm / kpd...
Tiruvanamalai is in tamilnadu...but it is not connected to the state capital. Previously there was a train from tambaram due to gauge conversion the same has been repealed.... Reintroduce in the upcoming budget

Yes , HSRA-SA should be SR's MAQ can be SWR/KR. Any idea whether KR will be merged to SWR. I read long back that KR's VSG-MAQ (both excluding) will be merged to SWR , thats SWR is providing its rolling stock to KR.

No one can be sure whether KR will get merged to SWR, but I feel that maintaining separate identity would be better. MAQ to PNVL with branch lines from MAJN-HAS, MAO-VSG and MAO-LD should be given to KR. MYS divn is geographically vast area and they cannot manage properly. HAS-MAJN out of MYS divn and scrapping of HMRDA will definitely improve the situation. Also, entire Mangalore region under one zone will make the things better for MAQ. To compensate to SR, BYPL-SA line can be handed over to SR/ SA divn.
Another feeling is that SWR's divn bifurcations to be re-cast. MYS divn extends upto UBL (excl) and all branch lines CMGR, SMET/ Talaguppa, JRU-Rayadurga (excl), HRR-Harapanahalli and HAS-MAJN apart

from MYS-CMNR. SBC divn is upto JTJ, upto SA excl, DMM excl apart from few branch lines. UBL divn has juristriction upto MRJ excl, upto VSG, upto BAY, upto HG excl, and few branch lines. I think the whole arrangement needs re-casting and trimming properly with creation of MAQ divn under KR.
With SCR getting truncated, I feel GR can be with SCR as a new divn for proper development of region. Else, GR-BIDR area will get neglected by SWR and SCR.

its sharing rakes with SBC-KCG express and Charminar. If its via ur suggested route then the departure timings for those train will be affected to a larger extent. IR is introducing that trian not for SBC-MAS pax , it is for decongesting MAS and SBC

MS-DR rake is idle at SA from morning 630 to night 2100. This can get extended to HSRA without any trouble. Will provide direct train to HSRA to SA, VRI, VM, MS. Will be a great hit. No changes in RSA also reqd.
