there is some risk i.e timing
unluckly if by chance this train reaches late in BSP then amarkantak exp may miss
so I suggest u to go by either PURI-JU EXP or Kalinga utkal exp
once I went to Mumbai by this very train left BBS in right time but reached BSP by 4 hours late (reason unknown).

I too travelled in this once (Jan 2011) that time it was rescheduled by 4 hrs from BBS itself and reached BSP at 21:40

Fairly Punctual, you can take a chance.
Gets late in SEC after RJN, till BSP it runs good

you can take chance..i have travelled in this train twice between BBS and BSP previously ....it was on time at BSP ...it reached around 5 pm both times.....it gets late during odd situations only like power fail,heavy rain etc otherwise its a punctual train
