What does ICF rake mean? Is it the same as the red colored LHB rake? Also, any idea of what happened to the pantry car news for this train some time ago? I can see that food option for this train is marked as poor. I guess the train is not going to be extended to Mysore as previously claimed, as I have seen no news about it.

Yes u r right, I also thinking the same, why not ICF making LHB coaches with inbuilt generator facility like ICF normal coaches. And why not other manufacturer of LHB coaches not making facility of inbuilt generator like ICF coaches. (EOG-END of Generating -Generator Coach) Because of every AC train with EOG coach taking place of passenger coach. And RM declare that they are going to increase the coaches from 24 to 26.
I doubt if they would make Udyan 24 coaches even, leave alone 26 coaches. Despite being popular, they have not added pantry, what to say about increasing coaches !!!
BY ADDING PANTRY YOU LOOSE ONE PASSENGER COACH,EVEN WITH PANTRY FOOD LOADED AT MAIN STATIONS AS PANTRY CAR CANT MAKE BULK FOOD REQUIREMENTS
