New passenger terminal is very big achievment for Surat. It will giving boost for Surat city.

If they Shift Goods Yard at UDN/CHM/SCH then they built new terminal on that space
Pre Budget 2015 an interview with ex-RM Dinesh Trivedi, braodcast by CNBC Awaz, was very interesting, as it was about "How IR can be improved upon" ...
Of many points he talked, one was about 'Terminus' .... His vision said, Railway means no Terminus, just Circular motion, ..... He was referring to CSTM and Churchgate like terminuses which are dead end for trains.
Hopefully this view is seen by current IR authoriries as well, and suitable measures taken in future to do away with shunting and reversal problems ....
