Hi,
I had booked e-tickets on 2958 Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Ahmedabad on 15th Nov and 9060 Surat Intercity Express from Ahmedabad to Bharuch on 16th Nov. The arrival time of Rajdhani at Ahmedabad was 10:05 am and departure of 9060 was 10:50 am. However as Rajdhani was delayed by 1.5 hrs i missed the 9060 train from Ahmedabad. How can i apply for refund or cancel the ticket. Also will i get full refund as i missed the train as Rajdhani was delayed or only 50% of ticket fare.

You can file TDR, mentioning the reason, and you can get the refund. Full refund is not possible in any case, I suppose
You can file TDR.Can someone please explain how TDR works because i am not too sure.
You will get only 50 % of the ticket fare as per extent railway rules.
If you booked e ticket your self then got the file tdr option in ur irctc account & follow the procedure given there stating the reason that passenger(You) not travelled.
if booked through an agent call him to file tdr,
the money will be credited back to the account...

I tried to file TDR but the PNR number of the journey is not there in the list.Kindly help

Dear Manish & all other bloggers,
I have some info regarding TDR. If u want to file the TDR then you have to wait still train reah its destination & TTE will submit the whole chart with all necessary formalities. You can file TDR after chart submission on destination station to till 30 days.
