A thing happened with me in IRI that really made me upset. Some trains had name In hindi, English and in some respected regional languages. When i asked some of the members to add odia to it they indirectly refused on the grounds that their regional language is more important than odia. 2-3 Times this thing happened with me. Does odia language doesnt have any position in IRI?? If yes stop such regional feelings in IRI It really hurts. If this continues i will surely leave IRI. All languages and regions should have same positions in IRI . Stop this regional feelings in IRI #moderator. I expect #moderator will take a fair stand in this issue
We have a standard scheme and logic of naming trains and stations. For stations, the name is present in Hindi, English and the regional language of the State the station is present in.
.
For trains, we have English, Hindi, and the regional language of the Starting Station. If the Starting Station is in a Hindi-speaking state, then the regional language of the Destination state is used. This has been clearly explained with examples in the earlier post: /blog/post/1393862
