I travelled by this train by 3 tier (not AC) in the summer of May 1970 as a college student from Kolkata to New Delhi en route to Chandigarh to attend a one-month Summer School Camp at the Punjab University, Chandigarh for the National Science Talent Scholars (NSTS)
Hmmm. A Science student turning to Finance. Interesting.
I was watching this movie yesterday and to my surprise saw that the entire FC Coach and the cabins were much beautiful and cleaner.
The 3A augmentation is just some years back!!

Olden days are truly gold. Was seeing in the same movie a hand written chart pasted outside a FC for a Delhi-Ajmer train.
