SUPER AC trains belong to a different category actually.They have Rajdhani type fare and look at TVC-MAS super ac with non stop run from ERS to MAS
If it is premium, it will not be of much use. Fares will go on increasing. In Mumbai-Kochi section, you have 5 airports (Goa, Mangalore, proposed kannur, Calicut and Kochi). So, if fares are higher, then they will prefer air. TT should be useful and fare should be affordable/ comparable to the commuters.
Matsyagandha arrives 1 hour earlier.So I think there is no problem.Also in current TT,It is a perfect train from Mangalore to Mumbai without wasting precious day time.
