* SUGGESTIONS SUBMITTED IN THE Confederation of All India Rail Users Association (CAIRUA) MEETING,CHENNAI Dt 26.03.2015 CHAIRED BY MEDIMIX CHAIRMAN.
1) REQUESTED TERMINAL FACILITY FOR SIVAKASI RAILWAY STATION FOR VIRUDHUNAGAR DISTRICT OF TAMILNADU IN MADURAI DIVISION OF THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY.
Our Indian Railway shall be decided to provide at-least one Terminal Station in each District of the INDIA for the common people of...
more... the concerned District,Like our Tamilnadu State Government Transport Corporation which have one or two BUS DEPOT in all the Taluks in the Tamilnadu for the common and poor people .
SIVAKASI have enough railway land.
2) SATELLITE TERMINAL STATION FOR TAMILNADU CITIES.
THIRUVALLUR,CHENGALPATTU,GUMMIDIPOONDI Stations have to be made Satellite Terminal for CHENNAI METRO.
TIRUMANGALAM Station have to be made as Satellite Terminal for MADURAI CITY JN.
THALAIYUTHU Station have to be made as Satellite Terminal for TIRUNELVELI CITY JN.
PODANUR jn have to be made Satellite as Terminal for COIMBATORE CITY JN.
MANAPPARAI Station have to be made as Satellite Terminal for THIRUCHIRAPALLI CITY JN.
3) REQUESTED ADDITION OF RESERVED SITTING CLASS COACHES IN ALL THE EXPRESSES FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE.
Railway Minister determined to augment passenger capacity in trains in the Budget 2015-16
.2 nos of Sitting Class Reserved Coaches of passenger capacity of 216 against the Sleeper Class coaches capacity of 144 ( ie The Sitting Class Capacity are increased by 50 % over the Sleeper Class Coaches ) have to be added in all the Express/ SF for the common poor people.
4) REQUESTED ADDITION OF RESERVED SITTING CLASS COACHES / SLEEPER CLASS COACHES IN ALL THE MEDIUM AND LONG DISTANCE PASSENGER FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE.
Requested that Railway shall attach 2 nos of Reserved Sitting Class Coaches in all the Medium Distance passenger ( > 100 km )
Moreover in all the l
Long Distance passenger ( .> 160 km ) one Sleeper Class Coach shall be attached for the common passenger .Especially Senior Citizens and woman passengers are benefited in these Reserved Sitting and Sleeper Class Coaches. Indian Railway revenue also increased by the Reservation Charges and Sleeper Class Charges.
5) REQUESTED AT-LEAST ONE PASSENGER SERVICES FROM ALL THE STATIONS TO ITS STATE CAPITAL.
SWR and SCR operate several Very Long Distance Passenger ( > 400 km ) trains from their State Capital to the almost all the stations in their jurisdiction. Example..BANGALORE to HUBBALI of distance 469 km ,SWR operates 3 pairs of up and down passenger trains for the benefit of the common and poor people of the Karnataka State.
Similarly other Zonal Railway also operates at-least one Very Long Distance Passenger trains from the State HQs to all the railway stations in their jurisdiction for the benefit of the common poor people with the lowest cost of fares.
Requested that SR shall be operated at-least one Direct Very Long Distance Passenger Train / through coaches from CHENNAI and THIRUVANANTHAPURAM to all their stations in their State jurisdiction..
6 ) REQUESTED AT-LEAST ONE EXPRESS / SF STOPPAGES FOR THE TOWN PANCHAYAT STATION / MUNICIPALITY / DISTRICT HQ STATION.
IR have to be taken a policy decision so that at-least one Express Train stoppages have to be provided in all the Town Panchayat Station / Municipality Station in all the routes and District HQ s station shall be provided with 50% of Express / SF Stoppages.
( example ) Requested that SR have to be provided stoppages for Nellai SF at THALAIYUTHU TOWN PANCHAYAT ( INDIA CEMENT SANKAR NAGAR ) in Tirunelveli-Vanchi Maniyachi section of the Madurai Division and any one of the Express stoppages for the ULUNDURPETTAI TOWN PANCHAYAT situated in between Villuppuram-Viruthachalam section in the Trichy Divivsion .
THIRUVALLUR is the Headquarter of the Thiruvallur District situated in the Chennai Central-Arakkonam Route..So at-least 50 % of the EXPRESSES / SFs passing through shall be provided stoppages at Thiruvallur Station.
