It's not that long.... in fact tvc-ndls is 3036kms(kerala express). it is only 2840kms b/w DLI and KCVL. yes it is not the shortest route to barreily, bt shortest route is not economical as i do not expect to fill the train with end to end passengers. it can include passengers from AII,ADI,DLI also. there are other trains which takes even more long routes to include cities (eg. 12522 ernakulam-muzaffurpur SF)

It is 3089kms ,if it runs via kerala exp route and diverted to bareilly from mathura jn. my train is just taking 3091kms thats not a huge difference.
