Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj^~ 6270 blog postsToday, again overtaken by 12554 Vaishali Expres at MWUE. The only solution to prevent its delay and overtake it to depart ANVT at 19.30 so that even if 12260 Duronto Express overtakes it 12554 is not close enough to overtake 12818 soon after 12660 is done.

I do not think so. 12260 always creates way for 12554 to overtake 12818. But today 12660 is done and the gap between 12554 and 12818 is large. So, there is possibility of no overtake.
And 12817 has improved its performance in reaching ANVT from the past few arrivals. I had filed a grievance for which I received a reply as well. The main problem was in MGS-ALD section , where 12817 is not getting delayed from past few runs which is a good sign. As, reaching ANVT with minimum delay ensures 12818 leaves ON TIME.

hope so... gap bhi hai aur 12818 chasing towards 12226 also, agar 12226 slow down hogi to iska asar 12818 me padega aur 12554 mauka dekh k chauka mar sakti hai...
They accepted that the fault lied in MGS-ALD section due to saturation, asset failures, flooding of freight and passenger trains, etc. They are trying to improve the infrastructure and schedule of train.
