Yes, prices do drop a bit when the demand becomes less. But, I have seen this in gkp-anvt premium.
You are wrong. Since decades pvt bus agencies, taxi rental companies, hotels and even airlines jack up fares when its season or when they perceive a higher demand. It is the time when companies make high profits as against normal profits during the other months. Even swine flu masks sold at Govt owned dispensaries were selling for a higher rate recently because there was high demand for it. Railways have only begun to follow the model recently.
It is Monopoly Business .... that gives Rly to play their own game...
and this principle is sold by Private agnecies to Govt...
They are charging World class fares, but Administration has also tobe that Class ...
We can understand that IR assets are capital intensive and it will take billions of Dolars to make complete changeover...
