I have Tatkal e-ticket wait listed no.2 the train has been dep at 12.40pm, can i travel with this e-ticket , other wise it may automatically cancelled...what to do i m confused pls help.
As the departure time is 12.40 pm, its charting will be 2-3 hours before departure time. If, after final charting done,it remains in W/L you can not travel with this tatkal wait-listed e ticket. It will be cancelled automatically and you will get refund in your account(from where you made payment) with in 4-5 working days.
Yes, Mr.AK Garg my charting was done still wait listed no.2, but ticket not cancelled, how do i know my tkt has been cancelled...pls tell me...and there will be a major stn ahead chennai central arrived at 3.00pm..so can i get confermation on my e-ticket at there
If it is written as waitlist2 and charting done, then do not worry it will be cancelled automatically( it is not cancelled immediately after charting). It will take time. For your knowledge you can check at Chennai Central also.
once the chart is prepared and your e-ticket remains in WL after chart preparation, dont worry your ticket will be cancelled automatically and the refundable amount will automatically be refunded in your same account which was used for booking, you do not need to cancel your ticket manually, however you cannot travel on an waitlisted e-ticket after chart preparation, you will be considered as travelling without ticket and will be dealt as per railway rules.....alternatively you should look for another option for your travel
