Since the rail bridge is too long , so in order to run trains smoothly the advance starter has been installed . moreover it is a signal only no cabin or station , since it is on bridge . it is not automatic signal it is controlled from DOS and SEB both sides

I agree... even the official site states that by 2019 only the Sonnagar - Kanpur stretch will become operational. They are "excluding" the Sonnagar - Dankuni section as originally proposed by Mr. Lalu Yadav's Railways Ministry era.... #EDFC without West Bengal?? :-(
