Vijayawada is major station in capital area. Ahmedabad is not capital. According to 2001, census Gandhinagar was not a part of Ahmedabad U.A., although it was includede in 2011 census but Rajdhani used to run upto Ahmedabad before 2011 also. Actual capital complex is nearer than traditional Amaravati from Vijayawada, Guntur Mangalagiri and Tenali. H. Nizamuddin, Ahmedabad, Howrah, Secunderabad have Rajdhanis - which station is in a state or national capital?

Gandhi nagar s 23 km from ADI, dispur is 11km from guwahati..
seat f govt in AP would b somewhere between vijaywada n guntur, ie less than 30 kms.. but for all practical purposes vijaywada would still b d most important city. .so it deserves Raj.. green
