i think railways should construct a 9-10 km long rail line between dalsinghsarai and vidhyapatinagar station which will connect the spj-bju rail line with bju-hjp rail line..this will reduce the distance between darbhanga-hajipur by atleast 15 kms qnd rake reversal at spj can also be avoided by using this line which will reduce the travel time between hjp-dbg by 25-30 minutes...this line can also be used by darbhanga bound trains going upto pnbe via the under construction sonpur rail bridge..

You know how difficult land acquisition is ?
And it involves big planning with creation of 2 junctions with lots of signaling work, But here railway have land at BCW and own yard.
