Trichur station facilties
Recently travelled to and fro Trissur station (under TVM division). The station is not developed for the last couple of decades. So many trains and passengers, but very narrow platforms (that too only PF1 and PF2 mainly used). I wonder why SR didnt take care of this major station.

I guess they kept 3rd PF free there are chances people may fall off from 2nd PF due to lack of space to stand :-)

Since PF 1 and 2 are in main line, they use those PF mainly, only when OT comes, PF3 is used. Also Guruvayoor bound trains starts from PF3. PF4 is also used by terminating trains. TCR, doesnt require new PF, but infrastructure needs to be developed.
