I am not getting the option for senior citizen quota(if a senior citizen travels alone then there used to be a different quota of seats) while booking ticket in IRCTC for last one year or so. Is this option removed.
Go through General booking mode and once you key in details of single passenger (eligible for senior citizen quota) you will be automatically taken to booking in that quota provided seats are available. There is no separate option to select senior citizen quota while booking.
I actually followed the option you've mentioned to book senior citizen ticket earlier. So I know about it but now(for last one year or so) I am seeing that automatically it's not taking me to that quota provided seats. So that's why I am asking whether the option has been removed?
