Amaravati express was also a superfast train once when it got extended to Howrah but then got converted to M/E train. Even now it has superfast train like schedule from Howrah to Guntur.
DVD to BZA both Ratnachal and Amaravati have same 61kph average speed.

After overtake, 12717 gets delayed. 18463 has 1 less halt when compared to Ratna & has to travel another 12 hours to reach FD. hence OVERTAKE
My father travelled in this train today. A kid felt down from the train at bayyavaram. Lucky that there's a TSR/PSR at Bayyavaram and others pulled the chain immediately. kid had Scratches on Hands and legs, halted for about 20-30 mins.
18463 overtook it at Pithapuram. 12717 left @ 12:50. Reached Slo @ 15:50. 18463 arrived at vskp when 12717 was leaving. Except C1, all coaches had Ambica Agarbatthi Ads.
