Train halt does not depends upon the train Tag but it depends upon the Patronage beneficial for train.
Why Shatabdi halts at many stations where most of SF skips.
Similarly the best eg is Gujarat Sampark Kranti, every SK Skips Mathura but Gujarat SK halts there, coz it is important for the train As Most of Gujarati people visit Mathura.

Is Bandikui that smaller? Or smaller than Gandhinagar Jaipur? if being a DD it should skip Bandikui. Why it halts at Gandhinagar Jaipur when sf like Ashram Mandore skips GADJ. .
Being a DD n having good availability of seats it will be fruitful for passengers uf halts at Bandikui. Also it will increase the patronage of it.

Bandikui wont give that much patronage to double decker as you are thinking , may be 5 bookings on average thats it. The cost of stopping train would be much more than earnings.
And for those 5-10 pax , railway is already running Malani express .
Infact , I wrote to NWR to even delete alwar halt because its pointless halt.

Oh kk. Thanx for info n apology if i made general discussion about halt..
If Alwar seems useless to u, Bandikui is far behind n its vein to discuss.

Alwar stopage hone ke baad 12986 DD hamesha Jaipur late pahuchne lagi hai. Alwar se mushkil se 5-6 passengers chadte hain. Agar Alwar ka yeh haal hai to Dausa Bandikui Stoppage karna to ek superfast ko local me badalna jaisa hoga. Fir yeh 4.5 hrs ki journey ko 5 ghante me kargegi jisse iske regular passengers JP GGN DEC DEE door ho jayange aur 6-7 months me iske coach bhi kam hokar 5-6 hi rah jayenge. Apka suggestion is train to Bhopal Indore DD bana dega. Waise be NH8 ka kaam 7-8 mahine me complete ho jayega. Fir DD ko Volvo se compettiotion karna padega.
