Hi
I want to know how is the coach condition of Howrah mail in 2nd Sitting. Since, there is no ticket available in other trains or other classes on 31.05.2015, I have to book the 2nd sitting of Kalka mail.
I would appreciate any relevant information or advise in this regard for making my journey comfortable. I am travelling with my wife, that is why I am more concerned.

It is not a 2S coach!
It is a SLR (Sitting cum luggage van) coach, the one you see at the end of the train, in which reservation is made on the GS seats!
It will be packed with unreserved passengers and you'll have to fight a battle to claim your so-called reserved seat with people who's turn your claim down with a sarcastic giggle that railways can allot those seats to reserved passengers.
