ChunarFort~ 514 blog postsI have a confirm ticket from patratu to Chunar in this train today. But a goods train has derailed near Barkakana (Tori). I want to ask will this train be cancelled or simply diverted between barkakana and Garwa Road? (any idea!?)
If it does not pass through my station then will my ticket be invalid? I am thinking of going to ranchi in case of diversion.

If goods train had derailed at tori (barkakana) then it will run via ranchi gomoh gaya mughalsarai .
As per train enquiry this train is not diverted

Just checked it now. It is diverted between muri and garwa road.
i am more concerned about the ticket. my friends are on way to ranchi. they will board the train there. don't know if the ticket from patratu to chunar will be valid.

It must be valid as though the train has its original route through patratu but has to be diverted due to accident..
hmm.....this train reached Garwa road at 10am (11hrs late). and rail enquiry not showing any information. this train is pathetic. koi fayda nahi hia is train ka. bas connectivity nahi hai tpo ise lena padta hai......majboori...
